1 pound ziti pasta
8 ounces turkey bacon
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the ziti pasta according to package instructions.
In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté any desired vegetables.
In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked ziti, chopped turkey bacon, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle extra Italian seasoning on top before baking.
Let the dish sit for 10 minutes before serving to help it set.
