Swedish Meatball Pasta Bake

A delightful and comforting dish combining Swedish meatballs and pasta in a cheesy bake.

  • 1 pound Swedish meatballs
  • 12 ounces pasta (like penne or fusilli)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, Swedish meatballs, marinara sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes.
  • You can prepare it a day in advance and bake it when ready to serve.
