Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined. Fold in pecans if using.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
