Spicy Corn Carbonara

A deliciously creamy dish combining spicy corn and turkey bacon.

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 2 cups corn kernels
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. Add olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Add corn and cook for 5 minutes, then stir in heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  5. Mix in the cooked spaghetti and bacon, then add Parmesan cheese and stir well.
  6. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey bacon.
  • Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
