Seafood Stuffed Shells

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped shrimp, crab meat, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, and parsley.
  4. Fill each pasta shell with the seafood mixture and place in a baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Feel free to add your favorite seafood – scallops or fish can also be used.
  • For a spicier kick, add some red pepper flakes to the filling.
