9 lasagna noodles
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 pound scallops
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups marinara sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shrimp and scallops, seasoning with garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Sauté until seafood is cooked through.
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
Layer noodles, followed by ricotta cheese, seafood mixture, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers until ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of noodles topped with sauce and cheese.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
Let sit for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
Notes
For a creamier texture, consider adding a layer of béchamel sauce.
