Seafood Lasagna

A rich and flavorful seafood lasagna that layers various ocean delicacies with creamy sauces and pasta.

Ingredients

  • 8 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound scallops
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups spinach, fresh
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add shrimp and scallops, cooking until opaque. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, spinach, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer 3 sheets of lasagna noodles, half of the seafood mixture, and half of the ricotta mixture. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles on top.
  6. Spread remaining marinara sauce over the top, and sprinkle with the rest of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add some fresh herbs like basil or parsley.
  • Make sure the seafood is fresh for the best taste.
