- 12 ounces pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add marinara sauce, oregano, red pepper flakes, and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer to a baking dish, top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
