Pasta alla Carbonara

A delicious twist on the classic Pasta alla Carbonara with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces chicken ham
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy.
  3. Add chicken ham and garlic to the skillet, cooking until fragrant.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Drain spaghetti and add it to the skillet with bacon and ham, stirring to combine.
  6. Remove from heat and quickly mix in the egg and cheese mixture.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve immediately with extra cheese on top.

Notes

  • For a creamier sauce, add a splash of pasta water.
  • Feel free to substitute different types of pasta.
