Outback Potato Soup: Easy Comfort with Turkey Bacon and Chicken Ham

OUTBACK POTATO SOUP

A creamy and delicious soup inspired by Outback Steakhouse, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until soft.
  2. Add chopped turkey bacon and chicken ham, cooking until the bacon is crispy.
  3. Peel and cube potatoes, add to the pot along with chicken broth. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and let simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Once potatoes are cooked, blend the soup until smooth (optional).
  6. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  7. Serve hot with additional toppings if desired.

Notes

  • Top with shredded cheese or green onions for extra flavor.
  • Can be made ahead and reheated.
