Korean Fried Chicken Air Fryer

  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup potato starch
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  2. In a bowl, mix potato starch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Coat the chicken wings in the seasoned potato starch mixture.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place the wings in the air fryer basket and cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine gochujang, honey, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  7. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spray the wings with oil before cooking.
  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less gochujang.
