  • 500 grams ground beef or lamb
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 cup coconut milk

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, ginger, spices, breadcrumbs, egg, and parsley. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and cook meatballs until browned on all sides.
  4. Remove meatballs and add tomato sauce and coconut milk to the pan.
  5. Return the meatballs to the pan and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with rice or bread.

  • For extra flavor, let the meatball mixture rest for 30 minutes before frying.
