Ingredients

  • 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from skillet and crumble.
  3. Add olive oil and garlic to the skillet, sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add chopped kale, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Cook until kale is wilted.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta and crumbled turkey bacon with the kale mixture. Toss to combine.
  6. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
