  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the Italian sausage, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 10 minutes.
