500 grams ground meat (lamb or beef)
3 medium potatoes, diced
2 tablespoons oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, grated
2 teaspoons garam masala
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
2 green chilies, slit
1 cup peas (optional)
1 handful fresh cilantro, chopped
Salt to taste
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add garlic and ginger, cook for a minute.
Stir in tomatoes and cook until soft.
Add ground meat and brown it.
Add diced potatoes, spices, and salt, mix well.
Cover and cook on low heat until potatoes are tender.
Stir in peas and garnish with cilantro before serving.
