High-Protein Creamy Philly Cheesesteak Mac & Cheese

A delicious and protein-packed twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, combined with creamy macaroni and cheese for a comfort food favorite.

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the flank steak. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the onions and green bell peppers to the skillet and sauté until the vegetables are tender.
  4. In a separate saucepan, combine cream cheese, beef broth, and seasonings over low heat until melted and smooth.
  5. Mix in the cooked macaroni and the cheese until well combined.
  6. Remove from heat and serve warm.
