Ground Beef Orzo

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in beef broth, orzo, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until orzo is tender.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.
