- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Once done, let the cake cool for 10 minutes before poking holes all over the surface using a fork.
- In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with the shredded coconut and chopped pecans. Pour this mixture over the top of the cake.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours.
- Before serving, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form and spread over the top of the chilled cake.
