Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add in the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla, and mix until well combined.
  4. Slowly stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth.
  5. Divide the batter evenly between greased cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  6. Let the cakes cool before adding the frosting.
