- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 strips turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 1 cup diced celery
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
- In the same pot, add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Add onions, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened.
- Stir in flour and cook for another minute.
- Add chicken broth and potatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in the milk and cheese until melted. Add chopped bacon back in.
- Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Serve hot.
