Crispy Sticky Tofu

  • 14 ounces firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce and maple syrup.
  3. Toss the tofu cubes in the mixture and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. Coat marinated tofu with cornstarch.
  5. Heat oils in a pan over medium heat and fry the tofu until golden and crispy.
