Comforting Loaded Baked Potato

A delicious and hearty loaded baked potato that combines turkey bacon and chicken ham for an irresistible meal.

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 6 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cooked chicken ham, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the russet potatoes, then pierce them with a fork.
  3. Rub the potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake the potatoes for about 45 minutes or until tender.
  5. While the potatoes are baking, cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  6. Once the potatoes are done, slice them open and fluff the insides with a fork.
  7. Layer with chicken ham, cheese, sour cream, crumbled bacon, and green onions.
  8. Return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes to melt the cheese.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some paprika or garlic powder to the potatoes.
  • This dish can be made vegetarian by omitting the turkey bacon and chicken ham.
