  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over the batter.
  7. Pour the rest of the batter on top and smooth the surface.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before slicing.

Notes
