Chinese Beef and Broccoli

A savory and quick stir-fry that combines tender beef and vibrant broccoli with a delicious sauce.

  • 1 pound flank steak, sliced thin
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, garlic, sesame oil, and ginger to create the sauce.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add sliced beef and stir-fry until browned.
  3. Add broccoli and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
  4. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli and stir until everything is coated and cooked through.
  5. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the beef in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • You can substitute the broccoli with other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
