Chicken lo mein

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces lo mein noodles
  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, broccoli)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Add mixed vegetables and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and oyster sauce, stirring to combine.
  6. Add the noodles and toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce for at least 30 minutes
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables or proteins.
