- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cups potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, milk, onion powder, and garlic powder.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Add half of the cooked ground beef and half of the soup mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese on top.
- Repeat layering with the remaining potatoes, ground beef, soup mixture, and cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly.
