  • 1 kg chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together soy sauce, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, and sesame oil.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a large pot, heat the marinated chicken over medium heat until browned.
  4. Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Cook for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  6. Serve warm over cooked rice and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
