Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

A delicious dessert that combines the flavors of caramel and apple in a creamy cheesecake bar.

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press into the bottom of a baking pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Stir in vanilla.
  4. Fold in diced apples and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and smooth it out.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until set.
  7. Allow to cool and drizzle with caramel sauce before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, add chopped nuts on top before baking.
  • These bars are best served chilled.
