Cantonese Chow Mein

A delicious recipe for Cantonese Chow Mein featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces chow mein noodles
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces chicken ham
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy, then remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, add chicken ham and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add bell pepper and carrot to the skillet and cook until tender.
  5. Add cooked noodles, chopped bacon, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to the skillet. Toss to combine.
  6. Finally, stir in green onions and cook for an additional minute before serving.

Notes

  • This dish can be customized with different vegetables.
  • For added heat, include chili sauce or flakes.
