Cajun Chicken Alfredo

A rich and creamy Cajun Chicken Alfredo that adds a spicy twist to the traditional recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken until no longer pink, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and slice.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine and sliced chicken to the skillet. Toss to coat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra spice, add more Cajun seasoning.
  • Substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
