  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups banana pudding mix
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup crushed Nilla wafers
  • 2 bananas, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Mix in banana pudding and milk until combined, then pour over the crust in the pan.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes or until set. Let cool completely.
  6. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in sliced bananas and crushed Nilla wafers.
  7. Top the cooled cheesecake with the whipped cream mixture. Chill before serving.

Notes

  • For best flavor, use ripe bananas.
  • You can substitute other types of cookies for the crust.
