  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a large slow cooker, place the pork shoulder and season with salt, pepper, and cinnamon.
  2. In a bowl, mix apple cider, Dijon mustard, garlic, and pour over the pork.
  3. Add sliced apples and onion on top of the pork.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pork is tender.
  5. Once cooked, shred the pork and mix with the sauce before serving.
