Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In another bowl, combine almond flour and baking powder, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in chopped cherries and sliced almonds.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
